Distinct Cremations give families a choice of attended funeral services and funeral plans.
Simplicity Cremations offer an attended funeral service for their funeral plans only. Their plan includes a simple 20-minute service, led by family and restricted to a maximum of 25 attendees.
With Distinct Cremations, families can choose either a 30- or 60-minute service at the crematorium. The service can be led by either a family member, friend or a professional celebrant and there are no limits to the number of loved ones who can attend the farewell. These funeral options are available both for a funeral now and a future funeral plan.
When the time comes to make arrangements, the funeral can be personalised with music, visual tributes, service stationery, flowers and more.
Can I choose which crematorium is used?
Yes, with Distinct Cremations you can choose the crematorium where an attended funeral service is held from our network of 42 crematoriums nationwide.
If you would rather have a direct cremation without a funeral service, we don’t offer a choice of crematorium and neither do Simplicity Cremations.
Instead, we can share the date and time your loved one’s coffin will be brought into the crematorium for their direct cremation. You can take a moment of remembrance at the same time to look at photos, reflect on memories, play music, light a candle or read something that reminds you of them.
Is pacemaker removal included?
Yes, with Distinct Cremations, the removal of medical devices like pacemakers is included in the cost for all our funeral services and funeral plans.
Simplicity charge £90 for the removal of medical devices for a funeral today. However, for those planning ahead, medical device removal is included in their funeral plan price.
