If you’ve chosen a Funeral Service, you’ll be able to pick which of our crematoriums your funeral will take place at. A Direct Cremation or Funeral Service will take place in your region (where possible). We recommend you let your family and friends know of your plans in advance if you’re having a Funeral Service at one of our crematoria.

Our crematoriums feature state-of-the-art downloadable music systems, allowing us to play any piece of music you want as long as it's been commercially recorded and released.

A direct cremation is a simple cremation without a funeral service and all the additional expenses such as flowers. However, the family can make arrangements for flowers to be delivered to the crematorium directly should they wish.

A direct cremation is a worry-free, affordable alternative to a traditional cremation, without a procession, service, mourners and viewing of the deceased. Though the cremation is unattended, the deceased is still treated with the highest level of care from beginning to end. A direct cremation is also the least expensive funeral option costing just £1,299 with Distinct Cremations. A traditional cremation on average costs £3,980.*

The contact at the centre Maxine was very nice and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The delivery of David's ashes was in keeping with the service.

The service received by Distinct Cremations was absolutely exceptional. I was completely blown away by the care, support and compassion provided by the company and in particular Sarah Miller who looked after me from the very first phone call after we advised them dad had died. She was such a glimmer of light at a very dark time which I shall be forever grateful for. Sarah kept in regular contact and her kind and gentle approach made the process so pressure free that I hardly felt like we were organising a cremation service (which was seamless and beautiful, the location was perfect and the local third party funeral directors that Distinct Cremations used were second to none) The addition of a wonderful celebrant and a photo tribute to dad’s original plan was worth every extra penny. It’s actually very hard to put into words how I feel about Distinct Cremations but during his life my dad was always so thrilled by excellent customer service and he certainly saved the best for last.

Although it came as a bit of a shock to find out our mum had a plan through Distinct Cremations, I can now understand why they took this plan out. Everything was handled with a profession manner and in a sensitive way, the staff were extremally helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. Although you don't get to have a crematorium service, we have family who live abroad, and getting everybody to attend at the same time would have proved very difficult. So, we waited for the ashes to be returned and arranged a wake at a time that suited the vast majority of the family. The fact that two of my siblings are now considering this type of arrangement speaks volumes. Distinct Cremations was a positive experience for our family.

The actual service was handled very respectfully by the appointed funeral director. They played the music we requested and hand-delivered my wife's ashes.

Distinct Cremation have been thoroughly professional and respectful throughout our experience with them. At a time when you are experiencing great loss and need as much support as possible they are there with you every step of the way, without the intrusive element that you get with funeral directors. They got every part of our service just right. I would highly recommend this company and will be forever grateful for how they looked after my beloved Mum.

Using Distinct Cremations for my Husband's service was the best thing we could have done. We were given their undivided attention, including a visit to discuss the service itself. The environment was lovely calm and relaxed and the service was beautiful. My husband would have been proud, as everything was spot on. Thank you particularly to Maxine, and Fiona the Celebrant.

I have recently suffered a bereavement (my wife) and throughout the whole process of cremation Distinct Cremations were at hand to guide me through the details at what was an emotionally fraught time. They were caring and considering of my feelings at all times ensuring the whole process ran as smoothly as possible. I cannot recommend them too highly.
