At Distinct Cremations, we offer cost-effective direct cremation and attended cremation services, without cutting any corners. Respectful care for your loved one is prioritised throughout. You can see how we compare to other funeral providers in the market with our comparison table.

We deliver all of the services ourselves including transport, care at our mortuary, cremation at one of our crematoriums and the return of the ashes. Our caring team is there to offer support throughout with both paperwork and making the arrangements.

As part of the Westerleigh Group, we are one of the UK’s largest cremation service providers. We have 40 crematoriums nationwide and facilitate over 70,000 each year.

You have a choice. You can either have the ashes personally hand delivered within 14 days or scattered in the garden of rememberance at the crematorium.

We have 40 crematoria spread across England, Scotland and Wales. You can see our full list of crematoria to find your nearest one.

Our funeral plans guarantee your acceptance, with no medical questions or additional costs for the elderly or those with pre-existing medical conditions. However, for funeral plans payable over 5 or 10 years we incur additional administration expenses for collecting the monthly instalments and for the purchase and administration of a “whole of life” policy from Scottish Friendly - an authorised and regulated insurance provider.

If the deceased goes to a coroner, there will be no need to pay for a medical certificate. This is because a coroner needs to perform different checks when there is uncertainty over how an individual died.

While we can’t arrange the celebration for you we can provide guidance if needed.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer viewings of the deceased before, or during, the cremation.

We provide a simple light oak style coffin.

This can be upgraded to an environmentally friendly coffin made using recycled and recovered wood as part of our Go Greener add on.
