Direct Cremation Reviews - Distinct Cremations

I recently had to call upon the services of Distinct Cremations when sadly my partner passed away suddenly. Maxine at Distinct Cremations was my contact, what a lovely lady, she took care of everything at my request, not trying to push any extras for the cremation of my partner, Maxine showed empathy and understanding in a very difficult time for myself, also kept me updated throughout the whole process right until my partners ashes were returned to me. So I have nothing but gratitude to Maxine and Distinct Cremations, and would recommend this Company to friends/family and anybody reading this review. Regular contact from the initial phone call right through until after the ashes were returned to my mother. Very courteous and respectful at all times, would definitely recommend this without hesitation.

I can honestly say Distinct Cremations were amazing throughout. From first ringing them right through to receiving the ashes back the service was excellent. They were thorough and compassionate in what was a traumatic time and kept me informed very step of the way.

Sadly, we have had to use the services of Distinct Cremations for both parents in the space of 7 months. At first we were wary of the concept that our parents had proposed, but the team was so respectful and our mothers cremation went like clockwork; everything was advised in advance and actioned as advised. When our father passed away in December, we had already agreed that we would use the same service for Dad. Everyone from the initial call, the private ambulance collection team, the personal attention from Maxine and the kindness and respectfulness of John, when he carried Dad's ashes to our door, were all superb. Having had a very stressful 2024, I cannot recommend Distinct Cremations highly enough for taking away one of the most foreboding duties during a very difficult time for us. They are great people with the sensitivity and kindness that is in rare supply these days but they seem to have bucket loads of it!

From beginning to end I was shown nothing but kindness by my contact in the company. I cannot recommend Sarah Miller enough, she was extremely helpful and compassionate throughout the loss of my Mother. I was kept aware of any development throughout the process, which is obviously trying enough as it is. Having had a not particularly good service from the so-called most popular company in this field when I lost my father, I cannot recommend Distinct Cremation highly enough. Reasonable prices and all round excellent service, and I would not hesitate to recommend Distinct to friends and family.

I found the service offered by the staff of Distinct Cremations excelled any expectations.
