Our funeral plans guarantee your acceptance, with no medical questions or additional costs for the elderly or those with pre-existing medical conditions. However, for plans payable over 5 or 10 years we incur additional administration expenses for collecting the monthly instalments and for the purchase and administration of a “whole of life” policy with Scottish Friendly.

A funeral plan is just what it sounds like. It’s a prepaid funeral arrangement between the plan holder and the funeral provider, taking the stress of organising and paying away from their family and friends when the time comes. Find out why you should plan your funeral and how to choose the right funeral plan provider.

A funeral usually takes place one or two weeks after the death. The time frame depends on a number of factors, including the cemetery or crematoria availability, getting all the forms and paperwork complete, religious belief, the type of funeral and family requirements.

After the death of your loved one, you need to contact the register office and register the death within 5 days in England and Wales and within 8 days in Scotland. You'll need the cremation or burial certificate to start making the funeral arrangements. Using the help of a funeral provider can speed up things as they are professionals and can guide you through the process.

Yes, you can pay for your funeral plan in 12 interest-free monthly instalments or over 5 or 10 years.

While we can’t arrange the celebration for you we can provide advice and guidance if needed.

The FCA are assessing funeral providers to ensure they are well run, well financed and well structured, and do not use bad sales practices such as cold calling. The new FCA regulations aim to ensure that all customers get the information they need to make an informed decision, your money is looked after and all plans are sold at a fair price.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer viewings of the deceased before, or during, the direct cremation.

For a Direct Cremation we provide a simple MDF coffin, and for an attended cremation we provide unvarnished veneered chipboard coffins.

We offer the highest levels of support and service but don't take our word for it read why our customers trust us.
